We love this place! They have such a great variety of Korean & Japanese food. Their fresh kimbap and bulgogi are incredible as well. The owner is super friendly to my children who are trying to learn Korean!

The owners were very friendly! The store has a decent variety of Korean and Japanese foods. It’s small but good finds. Loved the strawberry cake roll! After I made our purchases I went back in to get the cinnamon drink but only had credit cards and they have a $5 minimum, but he gave the drink to me for free! They also make a few takeout dishes like bulgogi or bibimbap in the back area of the store.

Absolutely stellar experience! From the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by how impeccably clean and organized the store was. It felt so welcoming and bright. What truly impressed me was the sheer variety of products they offered. Despite their size, they boasted an astonishingly large selection of Korean ingredients, snacks, and household items. I found everything from essential pantry staples to unique and hard-to-find delicacies. It was a treasure trove for anyone interested in Korean cuisine. And let's talk about their homemade kimchi and sweet bean pastries – absolutely divine! The kimchi was perfectly fermented, with just the right balance of spice and tang, and the pastries were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, a sweet and comforting treat. I could tell everything was made with care and authentic recipes. But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible kindness of the owner. They were so warm and welcoming and even gave my little one a small, thoughtful gift, which was incredibly touching. Plus, we were given a customer punch card, which is a great incentive to keep coming back! If you're looking for a fantastic spot to stock up on Korean groceries, or if you're adventurous and want to try something new, this little family-owned business is a must-visit. The friendly service, the pristine store, the huge selection, the incredible food, and the heartwarming generosity make it a solid five stars! I highly recommend it.

Wonderful selection of Korean and Japanese snacks, drinks, meats, frozen entrees, and cooking ingredients. The owner is lovely, and the fresh Korean lunch options on location are delicious at low prices. Arrive before 4-5PM on open days for fresh beef or vegetarian gimbap under $5!

Went for the first time today - really nice place. Found everything I needed and then some. Great selection and prices. Super cleanly. Will be back to try the bulgogi.

‘Pleasing Market’ is a wonderful local store that has brought our family great joy through the years! We frequently purchase ‘Bulgogi’ meals from their attached restaurant and stop in for ‘Korean Ginseng Tea’, ‘Instant Coffee’, and other assorted foods… Visit our local shop to support small businesses and relish ‘large flavor’ with a small town feel…BTW don’t forget to give a friendly ‘Hello’ to the store owner as you pass through.
